HolyPicoPrivacy Policy

The short version. HolyPico works without an account. Your progress stays on your phone. We do not show ads, we do not use tracking or analytics software, and we do not sell data. A few features need the internet; this page explains exactly what they send.
Who we are
HolyPico is made by Ecapp BV, a company in the Netherlands (“we”, “us”). For any privacy question, write to hello@holypico.com.
What stays on your phone
These are stored only on your device and are never sent to us:
- the name you type in, your tradition and Bible translation;
- your lessons, XP, gems, hearts, streak, quests and league position;
- Pico’s level and the items you chose for him;
- your reminder settings (reminders are scheduled by your phone itself).
If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
What leaves your phone, and why

As with every internet connection, these services see your IP address while they answer the request. We do not combine it with anything else.
The AI guide
Answers in the chat are written by an AI model, not by a person. We do not keep your conversations on our server after the answer has been sent; the conversation history is stored on your phone. Please do not share sensitive personal information in the chat. Anthropic processes the messages on our behalf under its commercial terms and does not use them to train its models.
Walk Together
The data for a shared quest is kept while you are paired with a friend. When you leave the quest in the app, the pairing and its progress are deleted from our server.
What we do not do
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No third-party analytics, tracking or profiling.
- No selling or renting of personal data.
- No access to your contacts, photos, location or microphone.
Purchases
If you buy a subscription, the payment is handled by Apple. We receive confirmation that a purchase is valid, not your payment details.
Children
HolyPico is suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Parents who have questions can contact us at the address above.
Your rights
If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another place with similar laws, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. Because almost everything is stored only on your phone, the quickest way to delete it is to remove the app. For data on our server (Walk Together), leave the quest in the app or write to us. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority; in the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
If the app starts to handle data differently, we will update this page and change the date at the top before the change takes effect.
