Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2, 2026
These terms apply to the HolyPico app and to holypico.com. They are an agreement between you and Ecapp BV, the Netherlands (“we”). By using HolyPico you accept them.
What HolyPico is
HolyPico is a study aid for learning the Bible through short lessons, reading and listening. It teaches what the text says. It does not speak for any church and it does not replace your pastor, priest, teacher or counsellor.
Using the app
- You may use HolyPico for your own personal, non-commercial use.
- Do not copy, resell or redistribute the lessons, artwork or audio, and do not try to extract them in bulk.
- Do not use the app to harass others, for example through the name you choose in Walk Together.
- Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer our services.
The AI guide
Answers in the chat are generated by an AI model. They can be incomplete or wrong. Always check them against the Bible text and the references given. The AI guide does not give medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice. If you are in distress, please contact a person you trust or your local emergency number.
Bible text and narration
Lessons and narration use the World English Bible, which is in the public domain. Other translations offered in the reader are also in the public domain. The narration is produced with AI voices. The lessons, questions, guidebooks, artwork and Pico are our own work and are protected by copyright.
Subscriptions
HolyPico is free to start. If we offer a paid subscription (HolyPico Plus), it is sold through Apple’s App Store: the price is shown before you buy, it renews automatically until you cancel, and you manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its rules.
Availability
We work hard to keep HolyPico running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Features may change. Progress is stored on your device; if you delete the app or change phones it may be lost.
Liability
HolyPico is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage arising from the use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
